iMessage on my iPad mini won't let me in without ID and password then verification. It keeps doing this after I have done everything including removing the iPad and adding it back on! I can't get into iMessage with it at all!

Do you have two-step verification enabled for your Apple ID? You need to get the verification code from your trusted device.
2 Step yes, got verification code entered everything they asked for, removed device and added back on, still won't accept me into iMessage! No problem with my iPhone!
